My neighbour had a kidney stone - not I, I'm glad glad to say - so I did some internet research to find out what he could and should not eat. I discovered there are four types of kidney stones, and the diet for each of them is different, sometimes even the opposite. So just ask the doctor what type of stone it was and look it up - very useful to know!
