Hello Curtains,
Im so sorry things are not improving for you. I will list all that i have done and would like to point out that i think my recovery was a combination of things:

I have been seeing a herbalist for three months and so have been taking different herbs twice aday in liquid form..these were tailored to my personal needs.
Plus
EcoDophilus £20 for 60 cap....2 caps aday three times a day (this is because of my stool sample showing i suffered from dysbiosis.
Digestizyme £12 for 100 cap ...to help with the above, take 1 up to thee times aday before food.
Selenium £8 for 60 caps x 1 aday 200ug has been shown to help thyroid function.
Sea Kelp £3 for 90 caps x 1 aday 560mg seakelp providing 450ug (iodine) as above
Zinc Citrate £5 for 90 caps x 2 aday 17.1mg each as above....make sure you have cooper aswell.i had this in a multi vitamin.
Bio Manganese £11 for 30 caps x 1 aday (vit c 72mg maganese 10mg)
Essential Omegas 60 caps for £13 x 2 aday
L-tyrosine 550mg with vitamin b6 60 tab for £12 x 2 aday
Mulit Basic AOR 180 tabs £50.....up to one to three a day...a very excellent multi vitamin.

I also took for a little while spa tone 100% iron supplement - my results show my iron levels are fine. However having a underactive thyroid can also mean you suffer from low iron levels..so it might be worth getting thIs checked aswell.
The b vitamins are very important to take aswell and these were in my multi vitamin....(multi basics)
All the above were taken after i read aload of info on the internet and books i have brought...it was scary taking things into my own hands but at the same time very empowering..i was looking to save money aswell, but at the same time knew there could be no price for my health to return....so its trying to get the balance. I am so pleased this has worked for me :):):):):)

I also did a healing workshop called Theta healing...which i also think helped towards my healing journey, check this system out...very powerful stuff.

Please also note i probably have spent about £300 pounds on consultations and stool tests and herbs and vitamins over a three month period..alot of money but well worth it.

It is also very important when taking minerals and vitamins to take them in their best form. I used biocare, natures aid, patrick Holford, Lamberts.

Many Blessings,
Rachelx

ps. dont forget i change my diet and also my skin care, shampoo and soap and household products to organic and i now use bio d household products.

Adrenal Fatigue

Hello All,
Just an update i was over the moon to find my blood results are normal now and they show no sign of an underactive thyroid. My levels are now within the normal range:)....but how come im still feeling worn out and tired?

It looks like Adrenal fatigue could be the under lying problem.

I have done a quick research and alot of the minerals and vitamins im currently taking should also help with adrenal Fatigue. My herbalist is requesting a saliva test for me and i will post the results when they come through.

Would love to hear from anyone whos had an adrenal problem and what has helped them recover or improve things.

Many blessings
Rachelx

Hi Rachel

Wonderful news that the thyroid is now back to normal - obviously all your research and your herbalist has paid off. Getting your adrenals under control will take a while, but I'm sure your herbalist will continue to sort things out for you - a much more natural way of helping the body to recover.

Well done both you and your herbalist!

Love and Light

Thankyou for your reply Caroline,
Yes i felt so happy...and it was within such a short space of time. The doctor that gave me a copy of the blood results didnt even know i wasnt on medication for it and had actually managed to sort this through changing my diet and taking the herbs and minerals and vitamins etc.
It does feel like i havent got to the bottom of this/my healing journey yet, but hopefully i will be on the road to good health and balance very soon 🙂

Ive seen from a couple of your posts that you have suffered from Fatigue:(

Could you suggest any books i could read ?

ive come across this one:-

Many blessings

I'm no expert on thyroid conditions, but I just came across an article that links thyroid disorder and soy products.

The Shadow of Soy

Maybe it's time to re-evaluate the benefits of soy?

Re thyroid T4 T3 ranges

As long as you have your adrenals sorted, it's worth knowing that some people need to be near the top end of the range to be better able to function, especially when they have ME/CFS which when tested with accurate methods often are Chronic Lyme Disease/Chlamydial Pneumonia and/or the many co-infections.
Endochrinologists usually are unaware of individual requirements.

Thanks for posting the article about the soy industry, David. Very interesting (and worrying). x
