Hi
My doctor says that the dry flaky skin and maddending itch i get mostly after i shower is a caused by my hormone imbalance. I've tried lots of things non soap washes, tea tree washes (which was great for about 3 weeks). Rosemary oil.

When it's really bad i put natural yogurt on my skin for up to 5 minutes after i wash to help stop the itching and the sting in my skin. Which does work kind of.

Any one else out there had this and found a more long term solution.

RE: Hormone Itch

Have you tried washing with Emulsifying Ointment? I find that this is the only non-irritating substance I can use on my body.

However, if you want to try to get to the source of the problem, some regular reflexology is great for hormone imbalances.

RE: Hormone Itch

Hi
I have tried reflexology and a product in Australia by EGO I believe it has some Emulsifying Ointment in it.
Thanks i'll look into foinding a straightEmulsifying Ointments and give them a go.
I used to think the itch was just from my thyroid condition. But I have a few hormones out of whack that I’m not sure what causes it. It drives me nuts.

The only thing I have noticed is that it is much worse when I’m ovulating.
