hi,
I've been diagnosed with Adrenal Insufficency. My levels are quite low 0.6 should be around 28 my doctor says for someone my age group. I'm 34. But hey if your gonna do something may as well do it well.

I'm not overly worried about this as it's just another thing to deal with.

But does anyone know why it happens? I'm being sent to a spec to see if I have Addison’s disease or something wrong with my Piturity or hypothalamus. So I do know some of what can cause it to drop but was wondering if anyone out there knows of any other causes.

I'm on DHEA 7 Keto right now to deal with my extremely low adrenal function. So far so good. No side affects.

RE: Adrenal Insufficency

Hi there found the article in May 2005 edition common symtoms are difficulty in waking up, fuzzy head, headaches etc. Some glands at top of kidneys affected. Tips it says are eat more complex carbohydrates and reduce sugar, caffeine and alcohol, eat small frequent meals and exercise regularly to raise cortisol levels, increase organic soduim - kelp, seaweeds, celery and spinch. do for 3 mths to rest body clock and recharge glands. Dont know if it would work but could try
