When I was suffering from a difficult relationship breakdown and finishing university I felt really out of it. I was saying certain things that didn't make any sense and the way I viewed the world and myself wasn't actually the true reality. It was like I wasn't really here and just floating through life's experiences with not enough control. I was also really gittery and wobbly with slow reactions to stuff similar to elderly people. I felt as though I wasnt really here and quite scared. People outside of me felt spiky and I saw them as very unfriendly / cold. I feel it would have been easy for people to take advantage and push me about if they wanted to I was so lost.
Any theories ??

Just to add since I went through this phase I went on a complete spiritual evolution and felt like I woke up to reality bit by bit as if I was finally fully awake and really seeing things for what they were. Before I had much less awareness.

Would have been handy if I knew all this before then I would have understood what I was going through 😀

You cannot retrieve your own soul. Do you mean you have had a soul retrieval? Because then you would need to do work to integrate.
The feeling different now is probably because we get used to things - humans have a great ability to 'manage'.

Yeah plus adapt.
No I just felt I'd almost healed myself from within. I think I have shaman skills anyway 🙂

Well yeah of course. I haven't fully delved into the subject hence why I wouldn't want to comment on it.
I just have a feeling 🙂

Skills and abilities are not the same thing. You could be born (or develop) abilities that - in a shamanic culture - would mark you out not as a shaman but as someone who could learn to be a shaman.
Skills, however, need to be learned from someone already doing the work. Which leads on to another point - being a shaman is not just something you are, it's something you do.
There are many abilities and skills that people who know very little about shamanism mistakenly call 'shamanic'. Of course, you may not be one of these people but these are the reasons that I asked my question.
