RE: Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Crystallove

I have been reading thru all the things that have happened to your carl and you. You poor things. Sometimes you just want to shake these hospitals dont you.

My husband is going for a scan on his testicles today. I cant go because of the children and we cant ask his mother to look after them because we dont want her to know what is going on as she would worry, I am so scared as I lost my dad in August last year from cancer and as you can imagine - the word lump is not a popular one.

I am so pleased that you had some good news and I hope everything gets back to normal for you all soon.

Love and light to you.

Maxine

Hi Maxine[sm=wave.gif]

Sometimes you just want to shake these hospitals dont you.

I'd like to do more than shake them sometimes;)

Thankyou for your kind words they were very much appreciated.

How did your husband get on with his scan??? I hope it went well:D
I understand what you mean about not being able to go with your husband, looking after the children (it's the same for me) & my husband isn't the best person at relaying information regarding health issues, thats why I wanted to go.
If you would like to talk anytime, please feel free to contact me. I'm not saying I have the answers but I can be there for you if you need me.
I can't get on the forums as much as I'd like to, but I WILL respond.

Hi Crystallove

thank you so much.
well Les had his scan and the radiologist said there were a couple of points he was not happy about and he (Les) needs to discuss them with his doctor in two weeks time after the radiologist has had a more indepth look at the scans.

I will be going for that appointment come what may. Like your Carl - information etc. Things are very tense at the moment as you can imagaine. I did say to him that it could be something simple like his vasectomy reversing its self etc. I am determined not to think the worst outloud at least.

Same to you by the way - if you need to vent steam - here I am

Love and light to you and yours

crystallove

I have one ball or testicle and have never had a prob
They asked if I wanted a false one and I said no
For if a woman has a prob with it well its really her prob
And never had a complaint from of any of the woman I have been with as to that area of the relation ship
To me if that’s the way I am and take it or leave it
But I find a lot of me don’t want to talk about it or even admit that its happened to them
As though its going to affect there man hood
But to me its has had know affect to that

Hi Vortex:D
You certainly have a way with words, & thankyou for sharing (you did make me laugh too;)

For if a woman has a prob with it well its really her prob

Don't have any problems with it at all;) but........

But I find a lot of men don’t want to talk about it or even admit that its happened to them
As though its going to affect there man hood

Have you been talking to my husband?;)
It's normally me that brings the topic up, but your quote has a air of truth about it.

RE: Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi all
I just thought I'd drop in with a little update on Carl.

He is waiting for another emergency appointment, as he now has a lump where they've already removed one from, and a lump on his other one (which is quite big). Yes, we are both concerned/worried but at the same time staying positive about the whole thing (what else can we do???).
I've been pondering on the idea of when Carls appointment finally comes through, I'M GOING THIS TIME, do you think it's a good idea??

RE: Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi, just seen this thread for the first time and I feel for both of you. Yes, I do think it's right for you to go with him. If I had a problem like this, I would certainly hope my wife would come with me. It makes it so much easier to talk about when a problem like this is shared. After all, he may be the one who hurts, but you are both having to go through this, aren't you?
Keep talking - and keep holding hands.

RE: Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hiya Supersub
Thankyou for your reply.
It's not that I don't want to go with him, we have 6 children, so, if the appointment falls around playschool or other school times it's hard to get just anyone to do the runs and look after all the children (hope that all makes sense[&:]
His emergency appointment came through the other day, it's on 4th July
[:-][:-] [:@] The system/doctors don't seem to class it as an emergency then????
Thankyou for sharing
