hello all,
my mum has been in hospital for over 2 weeks now following a suspected TIA. at first they thought she might have broken her hip, but are now saying it has an empty pocket?? this is not something we have heard of. can anyone enlighten me?

no, i'm not at all sure. i was repeating what my brother said on the phone following a discussion with the consultant. i'll try to get something more specific. geuss i asked the question before i had the facts. more soon if i can clarify...(unless my brother's language rings a bell with anyone meantime)...
