Lymph problem?

Hi to all
Hope you can help. I've been having pain in my boobs for the past year. Had a mammogram, ultrasound and examination, anyway the pain is coming from my lymph nodes. Didn't do biopsy either. Consultant thinks that because I was hairdressing at the time, that an infection has gone through my hands and thus giving me all this pain. Now this pain has gone down my right arm to roughtly where my muscle is and has remained there for the past few months. Consultant told this also, yet they don't seem to bother. I'm finding i'm limited with my actions in that arm now.
It does not come when it's time of the month, it is a constant pain, which i've learned to live with. I think it's not right, that after all this time i'm still having pain, still after a year?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and thank you for taking the time to read this.
