Hi. A friend of mine has been diagnosed with her inner ear being permanently open - giving her the feeling and symptoms of having a blocked ear - along with a slight lost of balance and the onset of tinitus. They think it might be muscular as when a camera was inserted up her nostrils etc it aleviated is for a couple of minutes but then returned. This condition is very rare - only a couple of cases reported in the UK and is given the nickname 'buckethead' as that is what it sounds like to the sufferer. The hospital have said that they might operate but she would be a guinea Pig and there is no guarentee on the outcome so she has asked me to ask around for some suggestions as to what might help. She is open to all suggestions - I personally have suggested to contact someone in accupuncture and I will do Reiki or reflexology on her if that is what she decides to try.
Any suggestions?
