Hi everyone!
I hope this is the right place to find an answer. Recently I've been getting this strong salty taste in my mouthe, usually after eating or drinking (water and juice mostly). I think my diet's pretty balanced, I cook everything organic at home, and I'm vegetarian but not vegan.
Sometimes the taste makes me nauseous as well. But apart from that I feel fine. I did have about 6 metal fillings removed. The dentist took all the precautions and I was fine afterwards, but that was nearly a year ago. If I had swallowed some murcury, could that be what I'm tasting? I don't think I eat too much salt. ANd it's worse in the morning.
If anyone can advice that would be great! Thanks in advance.
There are two causes for salty taste in your mouth. One is infected salivary gland(s). The other is dehydration. One can personally assess which is the culprit. If an effort is made to ensure proper hydration and the salty taste persists, infected salivary glands would be evident.
