For as long as I can remember I have always been plagued with digestive problems. I always had to be careful what I ate and have had various tests throughout the years with a recent discovery of a 4cm gallstone! Would this cause the excess wind (which is really embarrassing)and bad taste in my mouth and the feeling of bubbling in my intestines? Several years ago I tested positive for H Pylori and got treated for this but I was wondering would it be possible it has returned. I generally feel unwell at present with tiredness, headaches, fungal and skin infections and feel like I need to get myself sorted but dont know where to start. To top it all I have just discovered I am going through the menopause. I`m 47 and lead a healthy lifestyle which doesnt appear to be paying much dividends....help..please 😮
Poor you it seems you are going through a rough time. I was also treated for Helicobacter but was tested a year later and it had returned. Had a second treatment and that seemed to get rid of it. I had my gallbladder removed because of gallstones but cant remember having wind only remember the terrible pain. I am the same age and also going through the menopause and my sisters (all older) informed me that they all suffered terribly with wind. I believe there are some good herbal remedies that can help with the windies.
You should visit your GP and ask for anothey HP test. Would also say this never showed up in my bloods only with a Urea Breath Test (think thats the right spelling)

Thankyou for your prompt reply lindaannH. Its probably about 3 years ago when I had H Pylori diagnosed through a blood test. I will probably go and see my G.P in the morning 🙂
