Hi doc seems to believe that I have gastrisis, wants me to take pills, anyone know of an alternative route? Constant low pain in upper abdomen, and under ribcage, constant full feeling, etc.

You need to be careful when seeking medical advice in cases like this. All too often people are prescribed antacids when in fact they are suffering because of low stomach acid! I am a holistic practitioner who sees more people with digestive disorders than any other type of problem. I always carry out a gastro-test to see whether hydrochloric acid deficiency is a factor. Very often the client has had complete remission by taking HCl capsules with their meals. Another possibility is lack of enzymes. You really need to see a good nutritionist who carries out the appropriate tests.

Thank you Hmgcarr, I believe that its been caused by my taking of nsaids for headaches over the past while, hadnt remembered that they shouldnt be taken whilst lying down, have made diet very basic and found out about possibity of echinacea, golden seal and licorice root being of use but am keeping of alluntil things calm down a little. Any further suggestions welcome tho.
