Hi all, im beginning to think I have health anxiety?
I'm always thinking im I'll. My mum died of cancer 3 months ago and my dad has it too now I think whenever im I'll I have cancer.
At the moment I have a dull ache that comes and goes in my groin area and my side is stiff and back at the moment...i do have problem with my back!
Anyway because I read up all the time of illnesses I now think I have ovarian cancer, I did prod myself in the area and I've been to the docs twice they said they feel nothing!!
Please help me get out of my mind ???? So fed up 🙁

I can understand why you feel as you, but getting your thoughts under control is probably the most useful thing you can do. But you are NOT going made - this is almost certainly a bereavement reaction so you could try talking to Cruse - they don;t just talk to widows these days.

Reiki would help get emotional and any physical issues under control. You may well have a real reason for the pain and discomfort you are suffering but it is HIGHLY unlikely it is cancer.

Apart from that make sure you are eating a healthy diet, drinking enough water and getting enough exercise.

love and light, I do hope you can get thingss sorted out

Hi Katherine

You have been through so much recently it's not surprising you are in a state. The fear is that any slight ache might be serious - especially after all your parents have been and are going through. So don't be too hard on yourself and certainly you are not going mad. As Tashanie says, it is quite likely grief.

I have no doubt that people will offer all sorts of suggestions to help. I feel one of the best to help deal with all your problems is EFT. The results can be astonishing but certaily can help enormously - and then once they are dealt with you can get on with your life with much more confidence. Have a look at some of the storieshere and here and find a practitioner [DLMURL="http://www.aamet.org/search/search-aamet-members-test.html"]here[/DLMURL].

Emotrance may work even better for you. Read about it here. It certainly has helped me - I found it amazing.

Hope that helps

Hi everyone, I find that as well My Mum had breast cancer in 2006 and had it removed, went into remission. She then developed a cough, kept saying it was pleurisy or emphysema, she lived in Liverpool and I live i Swindon. She lost a lot of weight and me and my sister (all that is left) put it down to the fact that she had recently lost her sister (our aunt). Anyways, in Feb, she collapsed, turns our she had liver, lung and start of brain cancer and never told a soul, as the chemo made her so ill. Ever since that, I think I have it - I know I am making myself ill, but, I cannot get it out of my head and I am driving myself insane. Talking to my friend about it, she says it's perfectly normal and it's part of the shock? I don't know, I don't think I have properly grieved either, but, I do wake up and I do think about if I have it and aches/pains/headaches, I think the worst.

Katherine, having been diagnosed with cancer in Feb 2005, I have both empathy and sympathy for you-very understandable. Every little ache or pain meant only one thing to me-it must be the cancer!! Try what others are suggesting to you and try to cultivate a very positive spirit-I have been there !!!! You can do it !!!! I want you to find a place of peace and health:)
