I just heard on BBC news that findings have been released that drinking green tea may help treat leukemia. Here's a wee excerpt, and a link to the news story:
"Green tea may help treat a form of adulthood leukemia, if the cases of four patients are any indication, according to a new report. Doctors at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, found that of four patients who started drinking green tea or taking green tea extracts, three showed clear improvements in their condition in the following months."

RE: green tea may help treat leukemia
Have you heard about the new tea shop in Edinburgh, Chai Teahouse. Its in Newington. I think they have something like 60 loose teas including green tea... and WHITE tea. White tea has 3 times as many anti oxidants as green tea but is not as easy to get hold of because it is only harvested for 2 days.

Ooh you are a wealth of useful information. Thank you for that. I'll check out the Chai teahouse. I've bought white tea without too much trouble - in fact it is stocked at Holland & Barratts.
