Hi there, all you wise HP-ers - My OH has a trapped nerve under/by his right shoulder blade and has been in agony all weekend but went to the doctors this morning (and was given the diagnosis then) and given some medication of some sort or other to ease the symptons. As I do not have a complementary health background I am wondering whether there is anything I can do to assist him? Or should I leave him alone in case I do more harm than good? He did ask the doctor if he should think about massage and was told no and that it will simply go away on its own when its ready. Any advice, as always, greatly appreciated x

Hi,
I had a trapped nerve in my c5/c6 section...very painful....on loads of drugs for the pain...it went on for three months...had NHS physiotherapy for three months.....but i reacon if i had gone to my shiatsu therapist in the beginning..i would have been sorted sooner....:-)

I hope he feels better soon.
Rachel
Ps..I also tried acupuncture...which gave relief whilst needles in...but pain came back after.....Also i tried osteopath...which made it worst......ouch....
