Hello i'm a newbie living it Italy. I have been reading a lot about the enzyme serrapeptase and was about to ask if anyone has had any success with it for R. Arthritus. (I am looking for something for my Dad who also has prostate problems.). Apparently this enzyme can work on any inflammation within the body.

Just as i scrolled down the first page of Healthy Pages there was an article about serrapeptase offering a free intro to a bk. if i have time i will read it.

Anyone used this with success? Would be great to hear from you.

P.S. There is so much info here, really helpful .

Ciao .:)

Yes - I use it myself and it definately makes a difference to the osteoarthritis in my knees. I also use the animal version on my dog, who, a year ago, had problems with her hips (she is only 9) after 2 months on the serrapeptase, she was like a young dog again. I know of people who use it just to stay 'healthy'!

I used it for a short while to help with sciatica and it did seem to help. I ran out and haven't got round to buying anymore but I think I will give them a go again as the pain was reduced while taking them.

I'm going to give it a go for my lung disease. It would be fabulous if it really did 'eat' the scar tissue around my alveoli.

serrapeptase

Let us know how you get on Sunanda. I will inform you if there are any impovements for my Dad. I emailed the guy who wrote the e-book (available here) and he wrote straight back with suggestions for my Dad and was offering to call him up! The only problem was he wanted me to buy about 4 different things. Still it was good of him to reply so quickly.

I certainly will, kit-kat. Jabba has very kindly given me the email addy of the website where she gets hers from and I have just this minute emailed to ask what dosage I should take. Money is tight at the moment but if it can do some good it would be worth spending on.
(Thanks Jabba BTW for the info.)

My doctor suggest me to take this product for pain relieve in my knee and back as about 6 months ago I feel debilitating pain on my knee. I started using glucosomine-condroitin supplement along with physical therapy. I get somehow relief but that not enough, after doctor suggestion I used , now I can say that I am pain free, do whatever I want to do. That is so refreshing after horrify six month.

Well, I took four jars of the tablets at the recommended rates for lung diseases and haven't really noticed any improvement in my lung function. I've got my annual check up in July though so I'll let you know if the results show any significant improvement. At least I gave it a try - and it's certainly not done any harm.

Hi sunanda!

I just wondered how and if it worked for you...

I remember a year ago or so when my boyfriend when through many surgeries done on his leg, friend of ours suggested this and he's been taking the pills for a while. Also I was taking them and both of us noticed a difference. I had problems with my joints and suddently I felt full of energy which was real plus while working in a spa. My boyfriend's leg and energy overall spiral upwards too.

I am just thinking about getting them again for my father and mum suffering from different problems...

Let us know please!
Thanks

Hi Janulique
I'd totally forgotten about this thread! Well, my check up for my lung disease showed no change from the year before. Given that this can be a progressive disease that's good enough for me, but I actually don't think the serrapeptase had much to do with it and I didn't notice any difference while taking it. As it's quite costly and I'm going through a bit of a financial downturn I shan't be buying any more. But hey, that's just me; if they worked for you and your b/f then that's great news. I do believe that we have to check things out.

Thanks Sunanda!
I haven't bought it for a very long time too as you said - very expensive and also forgot about it until I noticed this thread. It helped us when needed though. Will try to find out more research before getting it for my parents... Thanks xxx

Hi

is indeed a great product for Arthritis, my father used it and had a positive result. After years of pain killers and prescription medicines, this really did help
