I know a few people who have either used these methods or who prctice them, but I don't really hear very mcuh about them day to day. Would there be enough interest on this forum to include these?

Haven't heard of the Dorn method, but a quick google suggests it's some sort of pysiotherapy? for the spine? We do have a physiotherapy forum already.
As for Quantum Touch, people do already talk about it in the Reiki and Energy Healing forum.
Thanks, Energy. Dorn is almost in a whole realm on its own. It's similar to physio in that it is meant to correct any problems. I'll do a search for quantam touch on here.

I know there are many people that haven't heard of it. It is marginally similar to physio, bt as natalie has said, its also very different. Also, not sure how keen physios would like dorn being linked with them, the training lengths are miles apart for a start!

it headlines it as "The Dorn Method - The Gentle Relative to Osteopathy and Chiropractic"
We do already have a Chiropractic forum so perhaps admin would consider renaming that forum to something like "Chiropractic and related therapies" or perhaps "Chiropractic and Spine". I would think the problem with creating a new forum for something that's relatively unknown, would be that it won't be very active, and with Healthypages already have a lot of forums (we do get new members saying there's so many forums they don't know where to post), if an existing forum can be made to encompass several things then that helps to keep things tidy.
Likewise, Spinal Touch could therefore be incorporated as part of that same forum as it is somewhat related to spinal correction, though not often talked about.
Of course, the decision will be the administrators.

It's funny, but chiropractors generally don't like Dorn practitioners. 😀 But again, when I did a search for Dorn, very little came up. I'm not sure if it's a lack of demand or curiosity, or if it just never came up, if that makes sense. :p
I did a search for it because I've been thinking about taking the course in it, and I just wanted to read a bit more about it and see if anyone in this board is a practitioner.

Yep, people get protective of their therapies, but that's not their choice on these forum. It would be like Reiki practitioners saying they didn't want Quantum Touch practitioners in "their" forum. Hey... we're inclusive here, not exclusive and the fora are Mike's not "theirs". 😀
