Hi all, I have just purchased my first couch, a second hand Darley. It's in great condition but I would like to give it a thorough clean before first use. Any suggestions as to what cleaning products to use? I don't want to damage it
Depends on the couch. Usually they are some polyvinyl covering or suchlike, so a weak solution of bleach and water, or antibacterial spray etc. should be ok on it. They're usually quite resistant to moisture (as people often get sweaty on them, or they have essential oils getting on them) and don't tend to soak things up (unless you've got a fabric covered couch), so a wipe with a cloth using the aforementioned, should be ok, and then you can towel them dry again just to be sure you don't leave it wet too long, if you're concerned.
