An email just hit my inbox purporting to be from Adobe. I was suspicious on several counts:
1. Why would Adobe have my email address?
2. It came in on an oldish address that gets a certain amount of spam anyway.
3. The use of English seemed to be not quite right.
So I did a search and found:
http://www.networkworld.com/news/2010/012810-phishing-scam-adobe.html
which although dated January seems to be the one.
A new phishing scam is trying to fool people into thinking it comes from Adobe, announcing a new version of PDF Reader/Writer. The message is making its way into e-mail boxes today, and the real Adobe urged any recipients to simply delete it.
So if anyone gets it, DON'T click any links, because they could lead to malicious code, according to this website.

I've been getting some of those for a couple of months now, but it's coming from Adobe.fr which is the french adobe site. I know I certainly wouldn't have provided my details to that site, so I knew immediately it was dodgy without even opening it.
