hi all,
just a quick question, what type of transport do therapists use to do mobile treatments, i have a ford focus and once i put my couch in the back it takes up so much room, i do tend to have my daughters stuff crammed in to it also, i should empty it all out but it all stays in the car for convienience,
thoughts please

Hi LJ
Unless you have a second vehicle for business, empty your daughters stuff out. A Ford Focus is plenty roomy enough for multiple daily use. I remember as a child going from Cornwall to London to see my grandfather. It was me, my brother, mother and father, with the luggage on a roofrack, in a little Mini with a 950cc engine.

One of my colleagues uses a Smart car - couch/covers/stuff - and sometimes has the dog in the foot well too!!!!
I use a Peugeot 206 estate - everything fits (just!). Agree with RP - your business needs to take priority - turf stuff out.
thanks,
i will need to declutter as this is going to be my livelihood, my other half is very supportive bless him saying he will get me a car for my buisness once i get myself out there but why waste money when you dont have too, do you need a buisness insurance for the car or can you just be insured on your usual insurance, i am only mentioning it as someone on an earlier thread said you do??

I simply pay fully comp. I think that business ins is only applicable to something like a car paid for by an employer. I can check that out - two family members are in insurance!
Hi Layla
Just declare to the insurance company that you use the car for business.
Best Wishes

I have a Renault Scenic. It's especially good as I can slide my couch along the floor in front of the rear seats, leaving my boot free for loads of other paraphernalia 🙂
I have a Fiat 500, with the back seat down I have about 185 litres, enough for massage couch, suitcase for towels etc 🙂
