Hello
I need to get my hands on some natural mineral water- that one can drink- from a natural source in London- does anyone know of a place like this? Bit stuck on this one- be really grateful- its homework for a course.
Thanks
x

Do you mean spring or well sourced tap water? I doubt you will find anywhere in London, since the repiping of the artesian well system and the reservoir supply back in the late 1800's. What course are you doing?

Its a shamanic healing course and we are looking at the element of Water- we have been asked to bring with us some natural drinking mineral water which comes from where we live or close by. I have no idea where one would go for this. Someone suggested Ceasers Well in Wimbledon Common- though a bit tricky to find if you dont know the path. Any suggestions really welcome. 🙂

It's a nice little exercise about the knowledge of London, and as with anything the clue is in the street names, Water Lane and Bayswater are perhaps a good starting place.

They must mean this one Caesar's Well, Wimbledon Common but it doesn't look too appetising! When I lived in London (Knightsbridge) some of the old horse troughs were supplied by well water, but I should imagine the health & safety nutters have put paid to them by now! Why not contact Thames Water - they may know of some local sources - you can only ask!

hi - they have drinking water fountains in Kensington Gardens., near the Italian Fountains entrance at Lancaster Gate

I went on an organised walk with them and was told they access to a natural underground water supply...so, is it worth contacting the chief park ranger and asking if the water that comes through the drinking water fountain is natural mineral water ?
