I am fed up feeling drained 😡

I generally have a good lifestyle but still feel tired a lot of the time.

So - for the last 3 weeks have been making extra efforts - more fruit, even more water & herbal teas, no fizzy drinks, hot milk before bedtime,Manuka honey,no catnaps & not only do I not feel great - I'm even more tired than before!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could sleep right now.

Yvonne x

Effort is tiring. It is no brainer. The way the consciousnes of the entire planet is changing, more and more people are getting that. You are getting that- that the more you do, actually less is done. There is a different paradigm opening up - beyond effort.

Your energy is not gone anywhere. Where can it go? Its a fortunate thing to happen as intelligence is urging to explore what lies beyond effort
Get in touch if you wish to.

Is it worth having your thyroid checked?

There are a lot of energetic shifts going on too at the moment- some sensitive people are feeling that and also feeling their energies drained. Water helps. And listening to the body. If you need to sleep- sleep- even if its afternoon naps 🙂
I relate- have had bouts of the same thing too recently

Hi
I've heard it might have something to do with recent solar and lunar eclipses ,that can disrupt body's energy system.
If I am correct we had 2 or 3 in the last 2 months and that can have repercussions felt for sometime.
I am also feeling really tired and can t shift it no matter how long I sleep or rest. :-/

Hi Yvonne

There are several physical problems that can affect energy production such as blood sugar imbalance, adrenal fatigue, food intolerance, low thyroid production, essential fatty acid deficiency, leaky gut syndrome and simple lack of B vitamins which are essential to energy production. If something in the above list rings any bells, then why not contact a BANT registered Nutritional therapist to sort it out for you? Fatigue is one of the commenest symptoms we have to deal with.

Other than that emotional issues are often at the bottom of this problem and sorting them out with therapies like =content&Itemid=485&option=com_search"]EFT can make an enormous difference in lifting the emotional load that then relieves the physical load. Certainly worth a try anyway and to find a therapist then look [DLMURL="http://www.aamet.org/search/search-aamet-members-test.html"]here[/DLMURL].

Love and Light

Hi, thanks for the replies.

Ruby - I have PM'd you

Treacle - I have had my thyroid checked & it's within the 'normal' range -altho' my husband & Health Visitor thought my symptoms pointed to my thyroid.

purelightreiki - I am extremely 'sensitive' so I can relate to what you're saying. Problem is I have a very energetic (demanding) 4 year old so I can't sleep when I really need it.

Lele72 - that makes sense - but it doesn't help us 🙁

VanessaH - how would I check my iron levels?

koike - thanks but think I'm so tired already that would just make me more tired.

CarolineN - will look into nutritional therapy. EFT -I bought a book about it a while ago
for other reasons but have not got round to using it yet - I don't know what phrase(s) to use. I will try & give it a go.

Yvonne xxx

Hi Yvonne - you would need to get a blood test done through your GP to test your haemoglobin levels to test whether you are anaemic. Have a chat with your GP. Caroline's advice for a bant nutritionist is excellent, and will certainly help if your iron levels are found to be low. xx

chakras

If you have time, try meditating and see if either a) it helps to energize you or b) can help you to understand why you have been lacking energy lately.

You might want to look into Chakra Healing. these are 7 powerful energy centers in your body and whether they are open or closed can greatly affect your energy levels.

Effort is tiring. It is no brainer.

Funny thing though, if I'm feeling run down I do a quick workout or go for a small jog - it seems to restore my energy levels in some way! I think a lot of problems originate with our sedentary lifestyle these days.

Energy?

Follicular - you're probably right - but my husband is home surprisingly early today - so I'm going to sleep 😀

Kathryn - I am aware of Chakras - was actually going to contact you re your opening post but unable to PM -

Pinkangel - I am so tired-have been thinking about it in detail today-used to drop my daughter off at Nusery on Mondats then come home & 'clear up' after the weekend - now I have to go to bed - not good:eek: *** I have not PM'd you as the last time I thought someone was going to help me they wanted me to pay £250-I hope this is not the case but I am not working & also have given myself/time/energy freely before when i've been able to

Yx

Hi Yvonne

There is a wonderful website that deals with fatigue in detail - see here - lots to read but it gives you excellent coverage of all that might be involved with the problem - see what resonates with you and take the info along to your doctor.

I hope you are taking a quality multivitamin/multimineral with high level of B vits which are necessary for energy production - like this or[DLMURL="http://www.hollandandbarrett.com/pages/product_detail.asp?pid=160&prodid=174&sid=0"] this[/DLMURL]. Reduce sugar and refined carbohydrates which cause blood sugar swings. Rely on a balanced diet - fish, some meat, vegetables, freh fruit, and wholegrain carbohydrates which release nutrients more slowly and evenly.

Hope you get sorted soon
