I've recently joined and am trying to find forum rules/guidance etc but don't seem to find anything. Are you able to edit posts once they've been posted etc.
Could someone point me in the direction or post a link to where they are.

Essentially, the for forums are actively moderated, so we'll let you know if you do anything wrong. Typically we'll work with members who do something wrong to educated and correct the issue, unless they're blatant spammers and then they just get banned.
In answer to your question (don't hold me to this as some things may have changed last year when the admin updated the forum software)....
Once you've made a post you typically have a fixed amount of time when you can edit the post yourself (it used to be 15 minutes, but I think it may be 30 minutes now). If you find you can't edit the post you can request a moderator edit it for you (assuming there is good reason to).
