Is this for real I wonder
There is actually a Director of Measuring National Wellbeing
Who concocts these 'jobs for the boys' what on earth is going on with wasting money on such matters.
Does anyone know how much he gets paid for this etc., ??
Not sure if there's actually a job just specifically for the Director of Measuring National Wellbeing, but the Office of National Statistics does have a Measure of National Wellbeing they are calculating, so I guess the Director(s) of the ONS is the same person, though they will be a director for many of the other statistics too...

Perhaps you've read some media-hype that is trying to make something more out of it than it really is.
Edit: It's quite interesting statistics really:

Thanks, I will read through, it can't be accurate though - no-one has asked about my wellbeing of late...:rollaugh:
I vaguely remember filling in such a survey not so long ago. With the Office of National Statistics, they tend to sample the population by randomly selecting households by postcode etc. so some people will have been asked to complete it and others not. Maybe you'll get such a survey in the future.
