It seems that most people know that climate change is happening but, in the wealthier parts of the world at least, it isn't seen as a threat: [url]article in the Guardian, here.[/url]
It seems to me that we, as a species, are on the (self-inflicted) way out - which might not be a bad thing in some ways but will be pretty awful for the next few generations, other animals (ones that aren't cockroaches) and (of course) the poorer inhabitants of our shared planet.
What is your take on this? Anyone with children and grandchildren (or nieces, nephews, anyone you care about) concerned about the calculations that life will be awful for anyone who is young now (last calculation I saw was 'younger than 10 at the moment') as they grow up?
