I wonder why people join the army when they know war and terrorism are created by the major powers! Should we call them hero's? I can't get my head around this. Yes I can see why they would join up to help OUR country if being attacked - literally to protect their own people, that is one admirable thing to do, but I can't see how or why anyone would want to join up to fight fruitless never-ending battles in war mongering countries.
So that they have jobs.

One of the reasons why someone joins the army is that they are lost, i.e. don't know what to do with their lives. If you've seen an advert that the Territorial Army make (which sickens me) they make it look very exciting and, of course, never mention the trauma or death.
I have seen a US army training video of how they brainwash new soldiers into dehumanising the enemy.....it is revealing and gross.
