How easy can the Government obtain negative results of our NHS, is this correct I wonder? If you work for the NHS there is a survey being put out to people, apparently asking service users across the board, 'How likely or otherwise were you happy with your experience?' Would you recommend this service to a friend/family member?' and so on.
It has been said that UNLESS the 'Extremely Likely' Or it may be worded "Highly Likely' whatever, but if the first one is NOT ticked, any one of the others even LIKELY, will, to our wonderful, honest to goodness Government count as a NEGATIVE. Now am I wrong in this, has anyone else heard tell of such underhand matters?

Any party can present data as they wish. And it also depends on how they ask a question. Do you still beat your kids? 😀

Where did you hear this from? Its the sort of thing I would not believe if it was published by the Daily Mail for instance.

But a survey will normally have 4 or 6 options - if its an odd number (3 or 5)....too many people will go down the middle . You want the person to give you a real positive or negative result.

The only time I would expect anything other than the best answer to be regarded as negative is if there are only 2 or 3 options....and my experience of NHS surveys is they normally give you lots of options.

Personally I doubt if what you have heard is true. It is in the governments interests to present the most positive picture possible of the NHS .

Believe me Sally from the source gained I doubt very much that this information is anything other than true. The government presented this to the NHS as a measuring tool. Your paragraph above left me dumbfounded, are you not aware that the government is trying to paint the worst possible picture of our NHS, not the best as they have a vested interest in privatisation.

No because they don't...... what makes you think they do?

If you are talking about all the MP's who are supposed to have interests in private health care companies....well that is a load of baloney. When you look into it, some of the healthcare companies have only the most tenuous links to healthcare. Like Saiunsbury (who have some in store pharmacies) and an alcohol company that was included because they are going to be involved in training midwives about alcohol abuse. Plus some of the MP's who have these supposed vested interests voted AGAINST the bill......

And what about the others? MPs links with private health care companies and why they matter.

Something else to think about, act on...

Our campaign to get the Lib Dems to pressure Cameron to veto the NHS from TTIP, is working. Over ten thousand of us have signed our petition and already dozens of Lib Dem councillors, parliamentary candidates and even sitting MPs have signed our pledge. But there is still a long way to go if we are to protect the NHS from this secretive trade deal.

Please can you sign the petition, and together let’s pressure the Lib Dems to make sure Cameron uses his veto and takes the NHS out of TTIP.
http://action.peoplesnhs.org/ttip-lib-dems

We won’t get every Lib Dem to stick up for the NHS, but not all of them want to stick to the party line and see the NHS sold down the river to American multinationals. Every signature we can get on this petition could help these Lib Dems take an important step in going against their party line and publicly calling on Cameron to take the NHS out of TTIP.

Please sign the petition and share it with your friends. http://action.peoplesnhs.org/ttip-lib-dems
