Hmmmm....there is no agreement over the location of the 'Devils Triangle' or its more famous cousin the bermuda triangle . I am afraid I take that aspect of this story with a very very large pinch of salt.

If it was unsafe for the plane to alter course and height what else could the air traffic control control but say no?

I beg to differ. The Bermuda triangle has always been understood to be in this region
http://www.worldatlas.com/aatlas/infopage/bermudat.htm

The Devil's Sea also known as the Dragon's Triangle, the Formosa (Taiwan) Triangle and the "Pacific Bermuda Triangle", is a region of the Pacific around Miyake Island, about 100 km south of Tokyo.

I realise it requires an open mind/stretching credibility to some who have no time for paranormal events, but there is the not inconsiderable matter of explaining the missing navy planes that has occurred in the Bermuda triangle and now, it would appear, this is occurring in the Dragon's triangle. (I erroneously said devil's triangle in the title and have asked for it to be corrected).

If the plane is at the bottom of the ocean....why no wreckage?

What is your explanation as to the whereabouts of this plane then?

It's a bit early to say, isn't it?

How long would wreckage take to surface? Not sure.

There's a lot of sea out there. And the wreckage (if that's what has happened) will be sinking to the bottom. Even if bits did float - it's worse than needles and haystacks.
MH370 has never been found and the general opinion seems to be that the parts are deep in the ocean.

Surely they have a means of detecting what may be down there? Also would the impact of a plane plunging down into the sea result it in being smashed to smithereens? Think not....i.e. that there would be larger, detectable parts rising to the surface.

According to stuff I've read, they would sink. And I understand that it's very possible that the storm tore the plane apart - in which case, even if bits did float, they'd be scattered over a huge area. With luck something will be found in the next few days.

Thankfully, for the relatives, it isn't another MH370.

I was wondering whether your thinking on it was 'X Files' or 'Supernatural'. I guess 'Twighlight Zone' covers both. 😉
