I was wondering, if all the europeon countries in europe are on the EURO why is the wage rates different from country to country. Why don't the wages in each country stay the same whever they go. This would cut down flooding to other europeon countries.
It's a natural law of economics - supply and demand. In different places these differ, and so effect prices and therefore incomes. The East European nations began within the EU with much lower incomes. Which obviously is why so many come here.
You do have to wonder where Europe actually ends, too. Does it go as far as Siberia, or China? Obviously not. To me, the Continent of Europe ends at (our side of) Istanbul, and after that it's Asia. Nonetheless they now want to bring an even poorer country in, which doesn't share our lifestyle at all - Turkey. If this succeeds, five million Turks would just love to come and move into your town, and take your job.
