Hi

I am a bit concerned that Tony Blair has been awarded some kind of peace prize today. Winners of this prize often go on to be awarded the Nobel peace prize.

There's a facebook page (against it)

I didn't know about the weak arm. Evidently any assassins - which frankly I think we are talking about - didn't either.

It rings a bell now from the time (as I am no expert on the Kelly topic) that he was adverse or perhaps even somewhat phobic about pills.

To be honest, I've almost never come across such a blatent assassination clothed in many intended pointers towards "suicide" as the David Kelly case. As you have posted, I not only felt but 'knew' it was a cover-up from Day 1. Not saying Blair etc were directly involved, but boy, they (he) did everything possible afterwards to help any cover-up. I'm almost certain that in the aftermath, Blair did know it was assassination.

Blair getting the peace prize ... I can actually see it as a distinct possibility. A travesty beyond words, however! He helped to begin a war that never needed to take place, based upon totally false premises. I'd rather see him in front of a UN commission on human rights and warmongering.

The ordinary people (ourselves) don't, in some ways, control this world, so "they" can implement any travesty the elite-class desire to. I think there'd be enormous flack if Blair got anything, however.

When the news was first broadcast showing where he was 'found' and the circumstances I concluded it was a cover-up for assassination. Nothing made sense!

Sigh. Yes I noticed this as well today. You really couldn't make it up.

They'll be talking about Dr.David Kelly on the Ian Collins show on Talksport this coming Sunday. I can't remember what time he comes on, I think around 10 o'clock, but might be worth listening to.

Those words really resonated with me. I know this is not on the thread-topic BTW: I don't for a moment suggest Blair told anyone, "Kill David Kelly". No, it's just a way the elite have, of understanding that to get along, you have to go along - even as PM in his pathetic and selfish case.

I note that he will at least donate the money to charity, but then again, from the link, "Mr Blair, who has since become a Middle East peace envoy since leaving office, is believed to have made at least £20 million since he left Downing Street in 2007."

You really couldn't make this up, could you? It's despicable.

Yes, Venetian - it takes one's breath away, doesn't it ... Well, I think that no one was under any illusions that T Blair was in politics for altruism.

I was moving and somehow didn't vote in 1997, but altruism is exactly what people thought Blair offered back then. Why people voted Labour the last two times gawd only knows, but that's one's right, and we better get back to David Kelly as topic ...

Obviously I never met David Kelly, never knew him, but what is an 'outrage' is that the signposts of "assassination" are written all over the story of what happened, yet our own government, in Blair days (Labour days) white-washed it. I haven't a clue who did it (the "why" is more obvious), but it's an outrage to give this story to the whole populace of the UK and expect us to swallow it whole that he committed suicide. Now hundreds of medics are banding together to say that on the evidence, suicide is impossible.

Mind you, to expand the thread in topic, the UK were told it was suicide, and just how vocal have people been in disagreeing? Not much. It's the JFK assassination, even if not so large on the world scene, all over again. The average person just lets it pass. 😮

Yes, there do occur silly conspiracy theories. But there are also real ones. And what staggers me is how easily the average Joe or Jane just let it pass.

Well... the plot thickens...

MP Norman Baker was due to be interviewed tonight but I've just read that he's pulled out 'on government advice'. What is that supposed to mean? They're still going ahead with the topic, but not sure who'll be on instead of him.

He reportedly had doubts about the circumstances surrounding Robin Cook's death too. To be honest, when Robin Cook died I entertained a few suspicions myself. I was so horrified by the whole Iraq affair that his death did make me wonder what else they might have been capable of.

The media are all over Tony Blair's bodyguard expenses - £250,000 per year! They're asking any politician they can get hold of for a sound bite ... no doubt the government advice was to let it die down a bit before agreeing to be interviewed!

I don't think it can get much worse. On various threads about this or that conspiracy theory I have fully admitted that the subject is sometimes irrational, and that claims are often bonkers. But through all that, my POV which is completely proveable, is that political conspiracies obviously do take place.

In the case of Dr. David Kelly it seems obvious. And other things are blatent too. So how to respond? Well, first of all, we can respond to those who are still trying to cover it up, and ask why?

What is so disillusioning to me is that this nation goes along with it: 99% of people don't even know or care how manipulated they are.

Perhaps we just don't want to believe it.

Anyway, it was a very interesting show on the radio last night. They not only talked about Kelly's death, but also his work, which was also very enlightening.

Robin Cook wrote an article for the Guardian (8th, July, 2005) four weeks before his death describing Al-Qaeda as a product of western intelligence...

"Bin Laden was, though, a product of a monumental miscalculation by Western security agencies. Throughout the 80s he was armed by the CIA. Al-Qaeda, literally "the database", was originally the computer file of the thousands of mujahideen who were recruited and trained with help from the CIA to defeat the Russians. and funded by the Saudis to wage jihad against the Russian occupation of Afghanistan."

Did 'they' expect him to reveal more? Makes you think.

That is simply a fact, yes. Bin Laden was in the beginning funded by the West in the war against the USSR in Afghanistan. I don't feel in a position to research it right now, but Al-Qaeda itself never existed as a word or an organisation. It simply does not exist. The American secret services, through Bush, coined the phrase. But after many months bin Laden and various disparate terrorist groups realised that it gave them kudos. So now they call themselves "Al-Qaeda". It is a complete myth created by some in the West to control us.

No, I do not mean that there are not terrorists; I mean that the Western elite have given them a name, and empowered them. There is no one organisation: any terrorist now calls themselves "Al-Qaeda". But there is no such organisation.
