Poppy Therapies

Welcome to Poppy Therapies. I am based in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, close to junction 25 of the M62.

I studied Complementary Therapies at White Rose College, Huddersfield for three years and Poppy Therapies was born in 2005. Since then I have practiced from home in a private treatment room which is separate from the house. I genuinely love what I do and my aim is to provide the best possible treatment for you as an individual, in a calm and relaxing space.

I have gained qualifications from ITEC (International Therapy Examination Council) and VTCT (Vocational Training Charitable Trust) in Anatomy and Physiology, Holistic Massage, Reflexology and Aromatherapy. I have also been initiated into the Reiki second degree and have completed additional courses in Pregnancy/Fertility Reflexology, Pregnancy Massage, Crystal Healing, Indian Head Massage, Hopi Ear Candling, Hot Stone Massage, Manicure and Pedicure, Warm Waxing and Aromatherapy Facials.

I am passionate about natural health and beauty “without the nasties”. I use Neal’s Yard Organic, Cuccio, Outback Organics and the Zoya nail range, which are all quality products without the chemicals and harmful ingredients.

I am a member of FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists), a professional body which regulates the industry and requires member Therapists to undergo Continuous Professional Development and gain credits each year, to keep up with current professional standards. This means that you as a client can have confidence in me, the level of training I have received and the qualifications I hold.

I am fully insured for all the treatments I offer. I also have an enhanced DBS certificate.

I work flexible hours and can offer treatments during the day as well as evenings and weekends
