Teaching methods
This programme is designed for people who aim to progress or begin their career in professional Massage Therapy. You may be working within the health, wellness or fitness progression already and would like to expand your range of skills.
In order to complete the Diploma you are required study at the intensive Certificate level first (week 1 of the course).
Due to the nature of massage therapy the course is taught using a hands-on approach, therefore you will be providing as well as receiving massage therapy throughout the teaching days, whilst receiving ongoing input from the tutor.
You will work with different members of the group throughout the weeks to acquire experience massaging different body types and gaining a feel for the different ways people hold muscle tension. This approach will enable you to gain experience in adjusting the depth of the massage to fit individual clients.
