Hi everyone,

Last November I was in New Zealand and met a very talented healer called Michael. We talked at length and he told me that spirt wanted him to do psychic surgery. He told me that when he lay on his hands, they visually changed and became very old and often went into the body. I do know of this but wondered if anyone knows a good psychic surgeoon here?

have a great day

RE: Psychic Surgery

Dear Publisher,

Sorry, can't help so hopefully somebody else comes back to you. This is something I am facinated by and have read quite a few books on the subject. It seems many healers do this in many different ways. Just finished a (old) book by Betty Shine - Mind Waves where she explains how it first hapened and how she developed this skill. Seems she had some incredible experiences and that it helped a lot of people. Facinating bit in her book. However, I know a whole bunch of healers but I don't know anybody who does this - makes me think you have to be on the right track spiritually or that it could take quite a while to develop so we don't put enough effort into it?

So, if we have anobody on the pages who does do this it might make a very interesting thread.

Have a lovely day,

RE: Psychic Surgery

The idea of psychic surgery is repellant to me. It means that I give someone else the ability and the power to interfere with my emotional being. It takes away my right to determine how I will respond to any event.

Spirit empowers each of us to become the purest self that we can be. That means pure in the sense that we are not defiled by the allure of control over the physical, emotional, or spiritual development of any other.

Spiritual healing is not doing anything to another; it is allowing ourselves to be used so that Spirit can interact with that other to enable healing.

Share who you are and allow each other person to grow in their own design.

RE: Psychic Surgery

Hello peeps
What an interesting thread, well I am all for channelling, but I am very well aware who comes through and who I let in and around me. As a channel I am able to do psychic surgery, but it varies, person to person, depending on their needs. Sometimes I feel an angelic presence, and some times its a very wise soul, who helps me.

I do notify my clients first, in what could happen when the healing takes place. I am on auto pilot totally in trust to the divine, and my hands and energy goes where they are needed

Love
Itharial:)

RE: Psychic Surgery

Dear Holos,

Probably going [sm=offtopic.gif]but I have to respond!Do you do healing? your profile doesn't mention so I am just wondering.

It means that I give someone else the ability and the power to interfere with my emotional being. It takes away my right to determine how I will respond to any event.

My belief is that the power that comes through me is from the highest source and therefore will be only for the best of that person -when you do healing you firstly ask permission to do so, or do so because it has been requested. Once the energy flows I have no control as to whether emotions, mental or physical level is being healed as this is in a higher hand. We were put on this earth with free will - nobody can take that away from you or interfere with how you respond to any event.I do not know any healer who has the power to do that, can you name a few?

Spirit empowers each of us to become the purest self that we can be. That means pure in the sense that we are not defiled by the allure of control over the physical, emotional, or spiritual development of any other.

Are you saying ALL healing is wrong? Healers believe that the energy works on many levels - are we therefore defiling everybody we touch?I amnot in control of anything but only channeling the highest energy and when healing I can not 'make' you do anything or interfere in you spiritual development. However, what I can do is to use visualation techniques or prayers or symbols to help me focus - more on this further down.

Spiritual healing is not doing anything to another;

Sounds like a very different tune from the first quotes but maybe I am just reading it wrong, however I do agree with that.A healer can only let the energy flow and is not doing anything to the other person.

it is allowing ourselves to be used so that Spirit can interact with that other to enable healing.

Are you saying that some people need a healer to be middleman as they can not connect to spirit themselves? I believe everybody can heal themselves and connect to spiritif they so wish. If their wish is to have some help through a healer then the energy will come just the same.

BUT - yep, always a but!-If you do healing by connecting to spirit and you start to develop certain 'gifts' - say, first you start seeing colours as you are healing, the youstart seeing an aura, then while you are busy healingyou seean instrument in your minds eye, you then see this instrument 'cutting' into the aura and you see hands remove negative energy, then you see a finger going over the 'cut' to seal it - the person you were laying your hands on has a remarkable recoveryfrom a bad back or knee or whatever. Should you now stop healing because spirit that you have always trusted to work in love and for the highest good is interfering or shouldn't be doing it this way?Are we now suppose to believe that what you and the other person received was not guidance and assistance from a higher power?

Should we only lay our hands on somebody if 'nothing' happens. I think there are many ways of healing and we all develop according to our own beliefs and in a way that we are comfortable with. This is just another way.

I work with a healer who senses blocks in the aura - when she encounters these blocks she imagines a vaccuum cleaner and sucks out the negative energy - she uses the same procedure when somebody has a cold or blocked sinusses etc. is she doing psychic surgery or is it just a visualization technique?

I think the best thing about these pages is that we do not all believe the same things. I think that is w

RE: Psychic Surgery

Dear Publisher & Itharial

How do you Itharial ( and your friend for Publisher)do this, is it totally through visualation. I read a book some months ago about a famous British psychic surgeon but he did use actual instruments - it was at this same stage that a law was brought out to say even if you are channeling or going into trance (and thus not aware) you are still responsible for the actions. All later books I have read people seem to use visualization more than actual instruments.

Itharial - when you say it is different from person to person - do you mean totally different or 'the same' but in a different place? Is all of this done in the aura?

It makes me wonder if the way spirit comes through changes as 'we' on the earthplane are developing. Go back 40 or 50 years ago and most mediums were trance mediums and of course there was all the ectoplasm and manifestations - this is unheard of these days. Was that done in order to 'make' us believe and now it is no longer necessary as we are more open and aware?

Sorry if they seem like stupid questions - I have never 'spoken' to anybody who can actually do this and I do find it totally facinating as I think it can make a remarkable difference in healing.

RE: Psychic Surgery

Jobelle, Hello!

Yes, I allow healing for others as a result of participating in healing for myself. I first needed to develop the understanding of Oneness with Spirit before I could look outside of myself to interact with any other to enable healing.

As a “healer” I am Spirit. But Spirit does not need me to imagine (or envision) any act that I should do. If I visualize what “I” need to do, then “I” do that, not Spirit. What level of Spirit requires me?

This is the difference between healing learned from a book, from another person, and healing inspired by Spirit. Healing, as it is taught, says that there are many things that are wrong with us. The healer is supposedly given visions of what is unacceptable in the one to be healed. But Spirit accepts us as we are and so judgments about what “needs to be healed” do not come from the highest levels of Spirit.

Spirit does not see negative energy in our auras nor would require that someone else intervene to remove such a thing if it existed. The basic premise that is missing in such a scenario is that we are perfect as we present ourselves in every instance, in the eyes of Spirit. It is our expectation that we have something wrong and need someone else to provide healing, fed by a sense of unworthiness. It leaves us vulnerable to prey.

As one who provides the opportunity for healing, I am merely a model of behaviour and thinking. I am Spirit in every possible moment because I do not allow for the possibility of separation; therefore I can provide, without thought or effort, a link to those who see themselves as separate. Does this make me superior to anyone else? Absolutely not! Each one of us is equal to every other.

Can I use my imagined “abilities” to step into the flow of another’s development? Certainly. But that makes me feel that I am superior, for the other “needs” me to effect change. On the other hand, if I allow my being to exude the love that exists from Spirit, they can know what it is to be loved unconditionally. That means they understand that Spirit accepts and embraces them just as they are!

This means that I must set aside any concept of me and what I must do. Healing is removing the barrier between an individual and Spirit and is not anything that I can do. It is something that ONLY the individual can do. I cannot reach inside another without disturbing the flow of energy between that individual and Spirit and I would not presume to have the right to do so!

The danger inherent within all of the therapies that exist today is that we feel that we are unworthy in the eyes of Spirit, that we have no power to change our lives and the way we react to events, and that we can let someone else “fix” whatever it is that they see to be wrong.

The therapist accepts that premise; they have superior abilities, can see what needs to be done, can feel what is wrong, will happily manipulate you and your thought processes (including telling you that you have negative energy in your aura, but they will take it away), and that as a result of their actions you are once again right with God. It is effrontery!

You are absolutely correct that we have the free will to choose any kind of behaviour we want, including psychic surgery, but do you want someone else deciding what part of you should be eliminated?

RE: Psychic Surgery

Hi Holos,

Thank you for your time and your explanation. I think we see things very differently.Firstly I believe a lot of people coming for alternative or complementary therapies are not religious (in a going to church kind of way) they are very spiritual and are trying their best to cope with the world we live in but some couldfind the concept of 'spirit' very hard to get around.I say I tap into the 'universal energy', they can accept that because I donot discriminate against their beliefs or religion and accept them for who they are and I care for their need which is a need to 'feel' better or have less pain-to me what they believe is irrelevant. I have to believe that I am connecting to the highest source and for their good, they only have to want to get better. If I say I connect to spirit this could be very offputting - people could be Muslims or Hindus or Budhist or athiests or Pagan - I do not care what they are or who or what they believe in - it is my beliefs that count in this instance and my connection to a greater source.

Therefore to me I also do not enter into a discussion about this or that is wrong or I see this or that needs fixing as I am not doing that 'fixing'. I lay my hands on them and in my mind 'spirit' will guide me in the sense that I will know where to put my hands, keep them on a specific spot untill I feel no more energy and then move on - to me, this is guidance. However - if all of a sudden my guidance 'says' tap here, or rub that - is all guidance I previously received null and void as this is not 'normal'?

I ask the highest source to helpthis person - if this source decides to 'send somebody' to 'show' me the way - a way I do or don't know- am I to doubt my faith now? Canwe say that 'spirit' only gives us a message in one particualr way and all other ways are wrong?

but do you want someone else deciding what part of you should be eliminated?

I definatelydo not see any healing as eliminating any part of you, I see it as energy that could be stagnent or blocked (maybe because of an event in the past or maybe because of a way of life or an emotional issues or whatever - I don't need to know)the healers as clearing the blockage in order for the energy to move freely and for the personto be able tomove on, or have less pain or to grow spiritually, whatever is needed. In my mind 'spirit' works in misterious ways, however, we have to be open to accept that.

I have to wonder, if we believe in an ever loving source who does not judge and accepts us the way we are - would 'he' allow some silly healer to just whip away a part of you? Would 'he' not step in and prevent that from happening because 'he' accepts us the way we are? Or is 'he' selective in who he allows this to happen to?

Sorry - time is running out on this side. Hope to continue this some other time.

Have a good evening.

RE: Psychic Surgery

Jobelle,
An inquiring mind seeks answers apart from the everyday!

You use the word Spirit and you deny the word Spirit, but by whatever term you want to use, it is the same thing. I can call it magic or subterfuge or raindrops, but will use your term “universal energy.” I do not like that term because of its Reiki connotation, but will do so for your benefit.

Universal Energy (UE) does not direct your actions or mine. UE simply is and, if it is truly Universal Energy, it is everywhere in equal quantities. That means that you and I do not have a franchise to “use” it, nor do we ever have to connect to it. It is a part of each of us and we cannot escape it—not even if we want to! Pagan, Atheist, Buddhist, Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Sikh, Eskimo, on and on and on—we all share that UE with every breath and every action.

You have been taught that in order to change the situation of another person you must “connect” to this UE, say your prayers or make your request, and then let it flow. Why do you need to connect? Are you not always connected to UE? If UE is always a part of you, what is it you are connecting to?

And while you ask yourself about an entity of Spirit that would allow a “healer” to take away parts of you, ask why you are approaching a psychic surgeon in the first place if not to do just that. And did you not say that your friend “sees” negative energy and takes it away?

One more thing, if you have free will, which you have already said,

ORIGINAL: Jobelle
We were put on this earth with free will - nobody can take that away from you or interfere with how you respond to any event.

how and why would that ever-loving sourceinterfere in what you have asked someone else to do?

And if you are not doing anything, why do you need to focus?

what I can do is to use visualation techniques or prayers or symbols to help me focus

Why not allow UE to and the receiver of that energy to get on with what they alone choose to do?

Perhaps it is about setting your intent. The energy is always there, but it is in how you work with it.

RE: Psychic Surgery

Rosi 1

What intent?

Does the wind intend to blow?
Do the waves intend to swell?

The only intent is that of the receiver who expresses himself/herself willing to experience oneness with UE.

RE: Psychic Surgery

When I allow healing for others I do not set an intent.
Nor do I work with the energy.
I just place hands and ask for healing.
And what flows flows.

It flows for me as well as for the other person.
And it is definitely not what I am doing to another.
It is each of us having the choice of allowing our participation in oneness.

It is as natural as the wind or the stars which twinkle.

Have you ever heard of anyone fixing a star?
Or one star saying to another; hey let me cut a bit off your point!

Call it magic, call it Universal Energy, call it Spirit, call it Love,
Call it that spark, call it whatever you like,
sometimes I call it the more,
I think that we all need it.
This more.

So, how can this more be anything to do with bits of us being cut out?
When I read about psychic surgery I am left wondering…..
What do I really want?
More or less?

The plan is divine and these therapies are out there at this moment in time for a reason, or do you think that God (or whatever you wish to call him/her/it doesn't know what they are doing?)

These therapies have nothing to do with "we feel we are unworthy and have no power to change our lives" - on the contrary, it is about asking for help, everyone needs help from time to time in their lives, and these therapies provide that help.

No, healer, therapist is fixing anything, rather it is the individual who ultimately heals him/herself.

RE: Psychic Surgery

Psychic Surgery also known as Aura Clearing.

I wonder if some people are getting confused? I can do Psychic Surgery and I certainly don't use the Phillippines techniques!!

Reiki Aura Clearing is getting your client sit, to think of their ailment. They don't need to tell me what it is.I get them to think about the ailment in various waysand visualise.
Now I never touch the client but use Reiki Master symbols and protect myself. I work to remove the block and talk to the client periodically to see what is happening to the visualisation. It can take a few minutes, it can take an hour. But basically when the clients visualisation is gone. Job done.

Slightly fast interpretation there.
I learn't this when I became a Reiki Master.

I am unsure from your description if you are talking of aura clearing or the Brazillian/Phillipino surgery, which if you are....be wary...it's big business there and even psychic dentists have taken off, for those who like their teeth pulled without anesthetic! One guy has stories of making bad teeth return to normal, and new teeth in older people who have lost teeth!

I think Ithar is maybe thinking of somethng different too (disagree that you work on "auto pilot", it takes a lot out of you)but I personally I would consider aura clearing a lot stronger than the gentle healing that a regular Reiki session uses (it is quite physical for the healer) , and would not only notify the client, but book a different session, ask them how they feel about it. In fact I have never everoffered it myself, but if people ask more about it then I tell them and go from there.

I hope this explains and Publisher can come back and tell us one she meant.

S xx

Well, Rosi 1,

How would Spirit, God, Universal Energy, ad infinitum NOT know what is happening? And is it a divine plan because you say it is? But again, you have free choice and can do or believe whatever you want. So can I, so can Jobelle, and Publisher, and Twizzle, and Starrie. Maybe the reason that the therapies exist isbecause we want to use them to seem important and nothing else!

Let me put this a different way:
When your child was placed into your arms for the very first time, did you say, “Wait just a minute?” Did you stop to ground yourself, connect to something, then visualise the heart symbol for love, and focus your energy before you held that child and gave all of yourself to being one with him? Then when you lay him in his father’s arms did you cleanse yourself and disconnect again? When he cried, did you visualise the pain in his belly, scan his aura, reach deep within him to determine that he had a wet nappy before you took care of his needs?

Why is healing any different? You reach out with everything you areand become one with another. Full stop!

I do not understand the need to justify all the artificial, plastic methods to recreate what comes naturally.
