I lost my mother in law to Pancreatic cancer about a year ago. From diagnosis to her passing was a matter of months. Very sad days then and still greatly missed.
Would be nice to get together a group of people to send distant Reiki to ease the suffering of people going through any type of cancer. Everybody seems to know someone who has had to deal with this horrible condition.
Anybody interested?

I am always wary of requests by people to send reiki to a relative. I like to have consent before I send reiki. OK I know the reiki will not go where it is not wanted or needed but even so I like consent. Plus I like to be able to identify the people/person I am sending reiki to.

I've moved your post to the Reiki forum as it's more appropriate.
In terms of energies, people tune in (subconsciously or consciously) to the energies they need at this moment of life, so whether someone is actively seeking reiki or they just have an unerlying need for help, but haven't specifically requested it, then the sending of Reiki to all who need it is a good thing in my opinion.
Saying that, I would of course seek consent from people I am giving direct Reiki to, but there are time and situations where we just cannot be in contact with the people who need it, so I think it's good to send reiki out to them and, if they want that energy, they'll use it.
I think we had a thread on here a couple of years back where people were sending group healing on a weekly basis (I think it was every Wednesday evening or something), so if you want to organise for people to gather on this thread and arrange a time when everyone sends Reiki (or whatever) then go for it. 🙂

I'm interested. Most people who are in the healing process are very receptive to the reiki energy and if they aren't, with intent it'll flow out and benefit the universe.....so put me on your list. 🙂
