My new daughters hands are endlessly activated and she goes through a phone every so many weeks ( I phones, galaxy s, doesn't matter).
When I was attuned to Reiki; I lost those wild hot hands and was afraid I had angered the Gods. It turned out my hands became tame. And I had to work to get them to activate. I was a shockingly difficult adjustment.
My daughter will come to whatever healing modality she chooses over time. I don't pressure her. But in the meantime:eeeK:
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to protect the phone?

Most need to learn to assimilate, absorb and allow the flow of energy that suddenly starts within them.
Over the years a small number of my students have reported that electric things going ping all around them. When I get an email like that (just noticed that I haven't had such emails for a while) This is what I tell them.
To allow to pass the energy through them with openness of body and heart. Recognize that energy has come on its own volition not by earning or deserving it. There is a buzz and a kick around energy and how it flows, what it does and what it can do in terms of healing etc can be enchanting to mind. That causes a certain clinginess, that hinders smooth flow of energy
Not psychologically owning this energy and the sensations. Not making energy special in any way, not making the energy about themselves. Allow lovingly and humbly to what energy wants to do.

In reality you cannot save you phone
Some of us lose some of our toys
We have a kind of built in static charge
Not everything we touch goes pop
However, what does can be quite random
As for controlling the effect....good luck
We cannot control every aspect of our lives

In the past a friend of mine couldn't go near the computer as it would crash. Some people have energies that are incompatible with electronics. i'd love to find out things are going now but she has moved to another country and we have lost touch.

electronics go ping/crash not because of incompatibility but because energy is erratic and needs to be allowed to flow smoothly by learning to assimilate energy by undersatnding how energy flows and learning to saty open to allow its unhindered flow. surges mainly occur due to reasons I described in my first post.

As I read what Jnani is saying (and I'm sure she'll correct me if I've misunderstood), it's about whether one becomes attached to the energy or not. If you're the sort of person who's always "Wow, look at this energy flowing from my hands, and how strong it is" then you are focusing strong energy through your hands and this will effect the electronics. However, if we choose to just recognise the energy is there without getting attached to it, it will just flow naturally without our focusing of it.
So I guess it's like saying "avoid focusing on the energy unless you have a purpose to focus it on".

I've been reading about quantum touch and some of the experiments he did to see if the energy didn't go though certain things.
Now he said it didn't go through leather well. He's thinking the energy was trying to heal the leather...hmmmm...dumb energy? I don't know about that?
The author of reconnective healing said the energy would go through a brick wall.
I see the energy we use as having no limitations as to time or space, let alone leather.
But just in case...my daughter is going to get a leather case for her phone.
She does no healings other than when provoked by familial emotion...when someone is dying or bite by a poisonous snake. Her empathy is her driving force behind her desire to touch.
She's just not going to be saying "wow" look at the energy popping out of my hands. She's not attached, connected or concerned with it except when her phone dies. It's interesting though, one of her sons is a cold handed healer of animals.
She's just beginning to think of this as a possitive thing. She's just beginning to understand it. I do not believe her phones are dying because she has an inflated ego about her hands. I think the energy is uncontrollable because her grandfather has been in hospice, and has refused medical treatment and healings from her. And has now passed.
It's like saying that people who can't wear watches are attached to magnetism in their bodies. And of course if they just got over that ego attachment...they could wear a watch?
The first things I teach a puppy is how to bark at the door when someone comes. Once I have connected he and I to his mouth...it's easier to teach him to be quite. Until she learns to make her hands do when she wants then maybe she will be able to turn them off.
Untrained hands of natural healer are wild. Period. Until she choses a modality; she needs a working phone. And I'm sorry to be pissy but pride is not the issue. Phones are.
When I got my first attunement my hands went cold. Nothing. I had to learn to "bring them" where before when the empathy was there (or even being close to someone sick even if I didn't know it) they burned.
Now I have to open my chakras, be still, intend...and wait for them to fire up.
When you teach control, when you wish to be in control then you are attached to the outcome. Is it ok to impose what you think is the best way forward on another?
The untrained hands of a natural healer.....healing has existed since time began...if you wish to control or contain it then that is your choice. Why not simply let the energy flow? NO healing is about what YOU want to happen!
Why let what you think you know dictate your actions. Where does the healing truly come from? Is it you or is it something far greater? A healing modality? why reinvent the wheel?
Is giving healing to another about what you want or what knowledge tells you the individual needs?
Is a humanly created method of healing greater than the direct flow from the highest possible source. Can you simply trust enough to get what you want to happen out the way and let the process unfold?
if a healer is truly a healer then you simply provide a focus point; many do not accept that they can simply ask for healing they need the touch of another human being; expectation! Healing depends on what the individual needs, not what you want to happen. If healing was up to you then the world would be well right?
Energy goes right through everything, energy is everything. Books never provide the answers, only insight gained through work and effort has the potential to do that.
If your daughter is a natural healer then let her BE, let her be guided by what is natural to her rather then anything that is humanly contrived and controlled.
What you intend is simply not needed, intention is what YOU want to happen; just trust.
Open your chakras..mmm if you are a healer then why would you ever need to close down. If the energy that you are using is from the highest possible source there is never any need to close down or open up

I am only interested in phone service. We are going to try a leather case. I read somewhere to put a protective shield around the phone...but that would be energy? So I might kill the phone trying to protect it. I think we'll have to get a land line 🙁
