I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. I had Reiki last week as I am considering adding this treatment to my portfolio. The therapist told me me that it would be a good idea to clean any bad energy in my room before each of my reflexology clients by using chimes in the four corners of the room. I have just been looking online for something like this but to be truthful I think I am now unsure as to what I am looking for. Can anyone help me please.

Usually, when we learn the 2nd level of Reiki, we learn the Reiki Symbols, and it is at this stage that we also 'qualify' (to use the term loosely) to be able to practice on the general public. The teaching will usually include instruction on how to use the Reiki symbols to cleanse a room prior to treatment.
People who haven't done Reiki (or even those that have) often use smudge sticks or incense sticks and cleanse the room by 'visiting' each corner of the room and by cleansing in a circle (or using Reiki symbols) in the centre of the room.

You can also cleanse by using ting sha cymbals in the room, which disperses energy quickly, or by cleansing with aroma oils in a burner such as Juniper.
You can also use a bell, and ring that in the room to clear it. 🙂

Can you not do Reiki on the room before you do a treatment? That's what I do.
Ask your masters to help you clear it. Also you can buy something called a swab stick or similar, like herbs tied together, you light it and sort of sway it round the room. It's not a particularly nice smell though.
You can use the Reiki Power symbol once you have Reiki 2 which you need to complete to practice anyway. I do this and also use sage to clear areas too. Another way is to use a shamanic rattle or drum or a tibetan singing bowl as these are also very effective at clearing energy and spaces. I also know that Guardian Angel eggs are great to have in your treatment room (or home) as these can also help to maintain clear energy by removing impurities - great for practitioners! I have put a link below to the company who have developed the eggs incase you want to look them up they are not cheap but do work brilliantly.

I know! They are amazing though and can really make a difference. The company do cheaper ones which you carry on you and are great for keeping your personal energy clear. They don't work for rooms though. Have put the link here too.

Wow - that is incredibly expensive (Guardian Eggs) from what I have read it is a white polished agate in the shape of an egg with an hexagonal base.
I think I'll stick to my reiki symbols, essential oils, and tibetan bells and tingshaws.

Along with my Reiki .. I like to use room sprays and clap in all corners of the room. Also once a week I open all windows. It is also important to shake soft furnishings to clear the energies in the room. The indian tribal music you can buy is also very good at lifting heavy energies in a room and is very good at uplifting you if you are feeling a little lower than normal. Lea x
You can use all these things and more....Personally I use the Reiki Symbols; sometimes I draw the symbols out with an incense stick (less likely to set the house on fire than the bundles of sweet grass or sage...) sometimes I don't.
Simplest and cheapest way?
Clapping into the corners of the room. Disperses the negative energies just the same way as a drum etc., but a heck of a lot cheaper.
Don't be bamboozled into buying drums, chimes, or anything else unless you particularly want them! The same effect, albeit not as dramatic, can be achieved by the simplest means.
