Hi,

My wife and I have just completed Reiki II and found it excellent! Credit to her as she's had a stinking migraine for the last few days but carried on regardless...in fact the reiki completely stopped the nausea which pleased her greatly! The course was taught by a different RM, both were good and easy to understand and get along with.

Now we're looking forward to putting it into practice 😀

Well done on your reiki 2 and so nice to do it with your wife!

Can I ask why you're already offering reiki on your website? Presumably this is something you have been offering prior to doing your reiki 2?

Usually you can't get insurance until your reiki 2 has been done... It's only after this that you can treat clients. Reiki 1 is really just for family and friends. And it's always best to leave it a while for your reiki 2 to settle first, the change in energy take a while to settle and I know I wouldn't want to be treating clients when it's not settled yet... or without insurance...

enjoy your journey together!

Many thanks for your congrats and kind comments - glad to be part of the 'family'!:D

Flowingflower, of course you can ask - to clarify re my Reiki page:

I made it clear in the website that I was working towards Reiki II (and even named the page Reiki I) and would only charge for material costs where applicable (eg travel) so if a person was happy to allow me to practice [as in rehearse techniques] on them, there was NO hidden agenda. I would certainly NOT have charged for a Reiki treatment when I wasn't qualified to do so ...as it was I had no takers anyway and if I had I would have explained in transparent detail when personal contact had been made. The pages have been edited to cover proper detail of what as a Reiki Practitioner I/we can now offer and insurance is sorted. As the website is new, we're awaiting our first Reiki client, by which time we will have adjusted. 🙂

We know alot of people who we will continue to practice [rehearse] upon to keep our hands in so's to speak! Not to mention the fact it's enjoyable just to do it anyway ...and we've found a healing circle just up the road, yay.:) 🙂
