Hi everyone,

I am a recently new practitioner and I am thinking of becoming self employed and doing Reiki sessions for the public.

I was just wondering if anyone had any information regarding insurance?
I am accreditated and will become member of BABTAC once my certificate arrives.

Thank you 🙂

I'm insured with Balens via the Reiki association I belong to - The Reiki Guild. There are other insurers that provide insurance for therapists, I do not personally know of them, but I'm sure other forum members will be able to advise you.

Towergate Professional Risks is a common one used by therapists, if not using one offered by the relevant association.

I am with Balens too and find them very good and would highly recommend them!

I've been with Holistic Insurance Services for 9 years and found them very good, they are also considerably cheaper than Towergate and other big insurers (especially if you get a discount when you apply as a member of some associations - don't know if it would apply to yours).
