Hi, my friend has asked for a full reiki treatment to help her especially with painful endometritis, as she felt the benefit of the distant treatment I sent her. I am relatively new to giving reiki treatments - reiki 1 Jan 09 & reiki 2 July 09. Has anyone else given reiki to someone for this problem? Also which crystals may be beneficial to have in the room?
Also I am going to tell her there may be a healing crisis, and the symptoms may get worse before they get better. Is it better to just tell her this to begin with, or wait and see what happens? thanks. I am so happy she has asked me as I feel it will work for her.

I've plenty of experience of endometriosis as I had it pretty bad a few years ago. I found that Reiki was fabulous for relieving symtoms and working on all the emotions that go with the condition.

For someone with endo, I would suggest using the CKR symbol and placing your hands over the area of her uterus which is where the concnetration of pain is going to be. Other sypmtoms of endo can often include stomach cramps so perhaps heal this area too. If you do some research into endo, then you will find out what other areas of the body may be unbalanced and contributing to the condition.
Sorry, I can't comment on crystals as I don't use them.
I always explains the healing crisis except I call it a healing reaction. I feel it's better for someone to understand that if they feel worse for a while then it's actually a good sign and will soon pass, rather than have them thinking the treatment wasn't ver good.

Red Jasper, when used in combination with reiki treatment produces excellent results in problems such as endo, fibroids and the like. While essentilly this stone connects with the root chakra, it has excellent properties to heal internal wounds. I have used red jasper with great success in treating fibroid bleedings.
