Hi all,

I had a chakra healing session just recently. I have some knowledge of chakras, from reading, but not what I'd call in-depth. Lately I've been looking at ways to heal some longstanding problems and happened to see a leaflet advertising this. I had a strong intuition to do it and wow, it worked (always follow your gut feelings eh!). The diagnosis of which chakras were blocked or damaged felt accurate. The whole session had a noticeable effect on my lower back problem, my legs have felt lighter and more flexible and I feel better overall! Just thought it would be interesting to post on here. Has anyone else had this done and how did you find it?

Hi Jane,

I've done chakra healing meditations before and chakra balancing with crystals. Whilst they were good and left me feeling better, the effects weren't as noticable as having a good reiki treatment, or a deep mantra based meditation. Of course that's my personal experience and I wouldn't dismiss chakra healing at all... perhaps I just didn't have the right people treating me at that time. 😉

Chakra healing can be a powerful experience under good conditions, we hold so much within our chakras and the chakras contribute a great deal to our health and well being, much can be achieved.
Blessings

Hi mouse16

Chakras healing and balancing are often incorporated into an energy healing session, to help re-harmonise our vital life force energy.

There are lots of different ways of depicting the chakras within the different healing modalities that are in existence, we have our own healing model which is significantly different to most of them as it revolves around consciousness, but in a way it is a lot simpler to understand if you have not already embraced the various models.

In our healing model we do not call them chakras, we call them energy generators as that depicts their function, their function is to generate our vital life force energy that we require to exist here, our life force energy is stored in what is normally called the aura, but we prefer to call it our energy reservoir, which again depicts its function.

Each energy generator corresponds to an aspect of our consciousness and will generate the life force energy in a way that directly relates to the state of consciousness of each of our aspects of consciousness.

The good side of balancing our energy generators is that it helps to keep us healthy, but the down side of adjusting the energy generators without adjusting the consciousness which is driving them, is that our energy generators are designed to reflect the general state of consciousness of each of our aspects of being, so they will start to change back to reflect our general state of consciousness and will require more healing and balancing work.

All I know is that it definitely worked! I've found with any healing modality that it's good to follow the promptings of my instinct, or sixth sense - it knows a great deal more about what I need than my thoughts on all the 'stuff' I've read about. Of course that doesn't stop me pondering away but the body has its own wisdom and knows what is needed if you are prepared to go with it.

Paul, I see what you are saying about the consciousness needing to change or things just go back but my feeling is that it can also go the other way, having the energy centres/chakras (whatever you want to call them) re-balanced affects consciousness, at least that is how I have experienced it. They may well go back but it gives you a start.

Energylz, for me the good effects of Reiki only lasted about a day. I learnt how to do it, sometimes felt the energy of it but.....something was missing for me. It is all about finding the right thing for you and as you say the right person to treat you.

Hi Guy's .. .

Another aspect in ascertaining one's condition of one's chakras is to be aware of one's endocrine glands ..

The two are related .

Hence why daily self healing is important.

And about dedication to stick at it. 😉

Hi

I meant the good effects from a treatment only lasted a day. When I was learning Reiki I stuck at it and did the self healing and a meditation technique for a year.

Personally I have not encountered the creations of consciousness affecting that which creates them, to my understanding the life force that the energy generators produce, is a direct reflection of what we are within consciousness.

When we correct the flows that the energy generators are creating, then that only affects the body which relies upon the life force, that could result in us having less stress and tension within our body, which for a while will reduce the bodies stress and pain input into consciousness and help us to relax more.

Unfortunately because the underlying problem which lies within consciousness has not been addressed, then the relief which we experience is only a temporary measure, which is what you have indicated within your later post, if correcting the flows could directly affect the consciousness that was creating them, then we would only need to perform it once and it would be healed and stay in balance from that moment forward.

Well, I'll have to see how it goes! I don't feel personally that it is possible to change consciousness, i.e. alleviate the underlying problem(s) without some serious help (I know, I've tried!). It may be that correcting the flows as you describe it does affect the consciousness enough to give you a way in though........I'm not suggesting that it radically changes but affects it.

Yes, it is difficult to transform our own consciousness utilising the same aspect of consciousness which we used to created the problem in the first place, it is something which is done directly within consciousness, it is more a way of being rather than a technique. 🙂

What a wonderful healing you have had :):):)

I find chakra healing and balancing very powerful. I use the chakras in healing trauma and addictions, including recently methamphetamine and cocaine. I like to use colour, Reiki, EFT, and sometimes laser, with the chakra work.

Yes, I was lucky there! The effects have worn off a bit now but not entirely, there are subtle things I can build on by doing grounding type exercises. Connecting to the Earth is the best.......

It really opens your mind to experience things like this. I like to read about 'this sort of thing' but cannot believe it until I experience it for myself, no matter how much I'd like to.....

Hi Mouse16.

I'm absolutely thrilled to learn of your experiences, and grateful for your sharing as it brings back so many pleasantly exciting (the excitement of discovery) memories.

I was experiencing, perceiving, and visually seeing auras and chakras long before I knew what they were (which means before I was old enough to find what rare books were available that discussed them--such books were rare back in the 1970's).

Connecting to the Earth is a wonderful way to ground, and develop a better understanding of the experiences.

I do hope you continue to share!

Love & Light,
Kiyoshi

Hi

Thanks! 🙂

Have to say that sometimes I am not so sure about sharing things here. The traffic is often one way! I'd prefer to have an interesting engaged discussion with someone else who is also interested in discussing their experiences.
