Hi, can anyone help? I have just started my Reflex course and cant figure out what height my chair should be. I know the height i sit needs to be relative to the height of the clients feet. But is there a 'best' height for me to sit i.e with knees at right angle and feet flat on floor? My back has been sore so far so wondering if i'm sitting wrong. Also want to make sure i buy the right chair/stool for me to sit on.

Thanks
Jen

RE: What height should my chair be?

depends what your client is on...

some of it is trial and error. always try to keep your back straight, harder than you think when you are concentrating and no leaning to the side. you'll find a comfy position but you'll also have to adapt as not all couches/ chairs etc are the same.

i treat maternity clints and if they are very heavily pregnant, i have them sitting on my sofa, feet up on the padded foot stool... me on floor, cross legged or however... you adapt!

RE: What height should my chair be?

I have an hydraulic chair, which means I can lift my clients up and down to suit their comfort and mine, and my chair is a simple office chair, with good back support, also able to move up and down so between the two, I manage to get the perfect spot for treating cients.

Hope that is helpful.;)
