hiya everyone

i am now three months in to my reflexology training and thoroughly enjoying it..although i am a little daunted by it all...i am treating people with some good results and practicing like mad...i am finding it hard to answer some of the case study questions about which reflexes to work for various problems but otherwise it seems to be okay, A7P is a bit hard, lots of study to do.
I do seem to be working with my instinct a little more now and trusting it, hope thats okay !! hjow is everyone else doing?

Hi there, we've only just covered the whole foot routine. Our case studies will start at the end of January. Personally I'm enjoying it, but there are others in the class who just don't "get it" and I wonder how I can help them.

Perhaps you could offer something like a reflex share within the group, along the same lines as a reiki share. When I did reflex many years ago the class used to get together informally and discuss the lessons, we found that it really helped us especially those who were slow on the uptake (No pun intended).

Hi everyone, my reflexologist's friends. You are on the way!! keep on studing, keep on practicing, read a lot about reflexology, researchs, cases studies. the internet offers a lot of articles about reflexology researchs. Medical sites can tell us about the diseases. Whenever I have a new client with a new problem I surf in the net in order to know all about that disease. It really helps me to talk to my patient about his or her disease. I studied for 5 years here in Brasil where I live. we have a school in São Paulo that has this course of 5 years. This is the course I made and I keep on studing every day!! God Blesses You!! reflexology is the future !!

When I studied, we used to do as per Healistic's post above, we would even ring each other, email, meet up, chat about our case studies etc. You will learn alot and be able to assist each other. I also agree with Beto's post about finding out about the different disorders that may crop up and think of why a certain area of the body would be affected by it. Don't be daunted by it, Reflexology is a wonderful therapy and you will surprise yourself in what you will see and find in your client's feet. Keep practising and practising, take any feet that are willing, ask loads of questions and keep up your study and do trust your instinct. I am sure you will do well.

Wishing you the very best in your training.

Love & blessings,

Rachel
