As a student doing case studies I'm a bit stuck on something. In all five treatments so far I can find lumpiness on my client's stomach and pancreas reflex but we can't work out why. I'm having lots of success and helping relieve some other symptoms on clients but really confused on this one, any ideas? am I missing something?

thanks all X

What time are you doing their treatments, ie. are you doing them shortly after they've had a meal?

Thanks for your comments - she always has a treatment and then her meal later, so I guess she is always a little hungry

no, she doesn't - she has plenty of other health issues though, none related to digestive

thanks for helping - yes she finds it very painful in that area. usually we leave it around 3-4 hours since she's eaten before doing the treatment

Perhaps it is your technique - if you are applying more pressure to this area than to others you will be more aware of any lumps and bumps under the skin. Maybe you could compare your grip and technique to other students in your group?

Hi Leesam
The two suggestions I can offer are.

Firstly make absolutely sure it is the reflex point that you think it is. I say this because around the stomach area there are lots of other points. For instance it would be very easy to feel sensitivity in the neighboring adrenal reflex if you are stressed out.
The other thing I would say is follow the meridian channel as you may have a blockage along the line. For instance the knee reflex point is on the spleen/pancreas meridian. Sounds crazy but I always describe the meridians as hose pipes with knots in. A hose with knots may still dribble water and as you untie the knots the flow of water gets better until you have undone all of the knots where upon the flow of water will be at its optimum. So concentrate on the meridians and their paths to unblock and release the flow.

Hope that makes sense.:)
