Hi Everyone 🙂
Ive been posting about my recent Flare up as i suffer with Ulcerative Colitis, My mum bought a Reflexology Kit a few months ago and has been working hard to learn how to do it.
She did some reflexology today to hopefully help with my flare-up. She focussed towards the Colon, I noticed the pain in my lower regions moved up towards the top of my stomach.. and eased away totally from my gut. I felt relaxed and better while it was being done... i was ok for several hours afterwards until i got a tummy ache and had to go to the loo :(.
Anyway im going to get this done professionally soon. at my health food shop where they have a clinic upstairs. Im alittle nervous, and i really cant be nervous in my condition!. Has anyone had it done for any form of IBS?
id love to know how well it has worked.. as i heard it can really help.

RE: Reflexology vs Colitis
Hi Anthony,
I replied on your other thread, I have treated clients with Ulcerative colitis, Crohns and IBS with reflexology, with good results, (remember we do treat the person holistically not the just for specific illness). Its so nice how your mums trying to do her best to help you! It would be a good idea to see a trained reflexologist in your situation, so as to balance things not over stimulate! Let me know how you get on!

RE: Reflexology vs Colitis
Yes, I have also had some good results with my clients with this kind of problem.
The benefits really come with regular treatments.
And definitely nothing to be nervous about - enjoy your treatments.
