I've had some pains in my feet for a few weeks now and am wondering if the points on my feet where I'm having pain would indicate where in my body the associated problem is? I haven't yet been to a doctor for this pain. I get a sharp stabbing pain in both feet but mainly the left one, an it would suggest a problem with the descending colon. Could this be accurate?

It could reflect a problem with your colon. People frequently have very congested bowels for example, without even being aware of the fact as they may still be having frequent bowel movements. However a stabbing pain may more likely be indicative of a nerve problem connected to the reflex. Best thing to do is have some reflexology & see what happens. However please DO also visit your GP or a podiatrist as you may be suffering from a clinical condition such as Mortons Neuroma or worse and its best to be sure.

Could this be accurate? No, reflexology doesn't have that level of accuracy. May be all kinds of things, for example a pathology of the foot. As Angela has said it's good to see a podiatrist or GP as well. Reflexology can be the next step (if you pardon the pun).

Don't get me wrong, reflexology is a marvellous therapy but it has been wrapped up with too much nonsense. Mega-apologies but I'm more into "reflex-therapy" than "reflex-myth-ology".

Hmmm, I'd say the amount of nonsense wrapping up reflexology is as nothing compared to the amount of nonsense wrapping up Reiki...
