Hi, i'm just wonderingat what stageothers started to feel like theywere actually picking up onclients problem areasduring reflexology treatments without relying on the client actually telling them that an area is sensitive. I am half way through a course and my case studies and I am just not 'feeling it' myself, I think I have had about 2 incidents where i've actually felt grittiness but other than that I am totally at a loss unless the clienttells me. Is it normal to take so long to start to pick up on this?

RE: Not feeling anything

Hi Bernie,

If a reflex is out of balance, you may also feel spongyness in the area, it may be hard, it may feel like bubble wrap popping, as well as the grittiness. As you get to know someone's feet, you will also began to feel differences from treatment to treatment, you may feel that a reflex feels different to the time before. If a client says an area is tender, make a mental note how that area feels to you - is it hard, spongy etc.

Of course, you may just have very healthy clients! 🙂

Good luck
Sx

RE: Not feeling anything

Hi all,

Stick with it ~ your fingers will become so much more sensitive as you gain more experience. I can now tell where a womanis in her cycle by feeling her ovaries and uterus points. I'd never have believed I could sense such minute changes when I first started.
