Hi Guys

Not sure why I`m feeling like this, but I took a course at The Carlton Institue last Nov for Reflexology, and am doing a VTCT course through them.
I`ve completed all of my case studies, and trying to learn the routine and brush up on my A&P, but I have no motivation whatsoever..so not sure what I need to do to get myself motivated... any ideas anyone?
Feeling a bit down on why I haven`t completed the course yet..[&:]

Any ideas ..

Lx

RE: No motivation

Hi

I am not surprised you have no motivation, having done a course with The Carlton Institue myself I was very unhappy and had to complain and request some of the funds back. They are unprofessional and do not supply positive and good therapy training. There are some inexpensive courses at the Middlesex Complimentary Therapies college where you can find some day courses to enhance your Reflexology training, these will help with the motivation and your confidence in your subject. I am a reflexologist and trained at Langely College in Berkshire and the training was superb, fascinating and motivating. The Carlton Institute training is not accepted by all insurance companies so there must be a good reason for this. I wish you lots of luck in the future and remember Reflexology is a fascinating subject and treatment you should feel proud that you are a trained therapist.

Regards

Hi Lindsay,
Have you thought about having a treatment yourself to remind you why reflexology is so fab?

Good luck!

RE: No motivation

Hi

Thanks so much for your thoughts, I might be an idea to have a treatment myself, as my birthday is on Weds...

I`m trying to think about Reflex more, so that might give me a little motivation...

Learning the routine is such a mission, but i`m nearly there, just remembering what comes next... sorry to sound ungrateful...

On the carlton, well I did complain to say that the should of had detailed step by step for the routine as it`s alot better to understand just in case you have written the diagram on the routine incorrect...but they have taken that on board...but I do find the Carlton very expensive....

Anyway thanks for me bending your ears..
