Hi ... (cough) ... um. I'm new here. First post. Just wanted to introduce myself...
I'm Sleepy Teapot and I'm about a quarter of the way thru' my VTCT reflex, a&p&p course.... I'm not enjoying the experience as much as I should be as I feel very 'anxious' about the theory side of A&P, and i'm rubbish at studying!! So I thought joining a forum such as this may help as it'll give me some perspective when I feel that my entire 'mature student' world is falling apart... I'm also hoping that I can put out little signs of 'help' from time to time when its midnight and I'm just about ready to :banghead:
And just reading about experiences of others is maybe also going to be a very helpful thing ... and one day I hope to be able to give someone else out there some help!!
So, just saying hi....

Hi Sleepy and a warm welcome. Remember when things get on top of you just pop into this place and maybe ask a few questions to get things off your chest.
Enjoy your journey
Welcome Sleepy 🙂
Welcome to Healthypages! :nature-smiley-008:
Welcome! I'm new to this too, I should have introduced myself when signing up, oopss apologies everyone...
Hi I'm TinyBird, I trained as traditional beauty therapist but found a major passion for holistic and alternative therapies, so that's where my path is leading and I adore it!
Like yourself I am studying Level 3 Reflexology and am overwhelmed but excited at the same time with how much there is to learn not only on the course, but it's very clear from reading posts how much more there is to learn in practice and with experience. Saying that it's the same in my other holistic treatments and I adore the fact we are continually learning and developing as therapists and individuals.
One thing I've found a real help for A&P is "Anatomy In Motion". I currently just am a fan on their facebook page and find it awesome, it explains the body in detail but in an easy and interesting way to understand and the graphics are stunning. Highly recommend if you haven't already seen it:
They have an app (currently for apple users but working on android) and people rave about it including therapists. Great for kids when studying too.
I've also heard PurposeGames.com - Create & Play Online Games is great. I've bookmarked it as only had 2 lessons so far so not started A&P.
Best of luck in your studies. Hope this has helped x
