Sounds good auburny. The calming of the nervous system is such a relief for sufferers from the continual shaking.

Does you father have any other symptoms? For example, one of my Parkinson sufferers used to get up frequently in the night to go to the loo but with my treatments (Bowen Technique not Reflexology) I have been doing some work around kidneys and she is going much less now, which means she gets more sleep and rest. So think about some of the other ways your father experiences Parkinsons.

I would also recommend a fabulous book called "Stop Parkin, Start Livin" by John Coleman who was clear of Stage IV Parkinsons within 3 years (albeit he didn't use reflexology but he practices complementary therapies and some of the tips and thoughts he gives are invaluable).

Sx

Hi sarah, thank you for your reply, i have made a note of the book you suggested will be interesting to read, my father seems to stoop over a lot although i only mentioned to my mother 3 days ago how upright he was as he was sitting at the dining table trying to get the last piece of home made stew from the bottom of the bowl, determination i guess, i was amazed.
Thanks again auburny
