Hi my 18 yr old son has just been diagnosed with glandular fever (middle of Alevels!) what is your opinion on him having reflexology. Could it boost his immune system and help or make it worse? He said his spleen feels tender today and his neck is swollen. Thanks. Feeling bit freaked cos daughter got it at 17 and ended up with ME for years.
Love Melanie x

Hi Melsy,

If your son is open to receiving Reflexology then it would be a perfect way of helping him.

I would concentrate on all of his elimination channels especially the lymphs. Also spleen and thymus which should feel less tender as you work the areas.

Talk him through positive visualisations that he is feeling stronger and more well each day. Worrying about possible ME might set up the possibilty of just that happening!

I hope that he feels better soon and can enjoy a lovely relaxing summer.
